10TAL Magazine proudly presents the Stockholm Poetry Festival at Dramaten (the Royal Dramatic Theatre), 24th of November, 6–10 p.m.
We concentrate on the foremost poet of Sweden, Tomas Tranströmer, who inaugurated the first performance, alongside with the band The Flesh Quartet, the actor Krister Henriksson, and the founder of the festival Madeleine Grive, in November 1997. This year, for the first time in history of the festival, Poetry has been awarded the Nobel prize, and we celebrate the winner by staging lyrical, musical, and dance interpretations of Tranströmer’s poems. Furthermore contemporary poets from Poland and some of the lyricists of the new Arab world are performing.
Don’t miss the festival of the year, an evening were worldwide realities meet poetry.
